MR-0134, 2x RS-232
MR-0134 is a submodule, which is used to expand the number of serial channels directly in the basic modules of the Foxtrot 2 system, it contains 2x RS-232. The internal connection ensures galvanic separation of the interface from the system and power supply circuits. At the same time, the module contains identification circuits. The user has the ability to identify the type of submodule used from the development environment.

Installation
Attention! Because the module contains semiconductor components, it is necessary to follow the principles for working with electrostatic sensitive components when handling the removed cover. It is not allowed to touch the printed circuit boards directly without protective measures.
Connection
Description The communication interfaces of the end device where the submodule
is put in are equipped typically with a screw
connectors. The connection of connectors is mentioned in the
manual of this end device.
Module operation
Commissioning Submodules with RS-485 have soldering jumpers, that can be used to connect terminating resistor network to the transmission lines. They are labeled „BT1“ for first channel and „BT2“ for second channel. By default, submodules are delivered with these jumpers open.

Because the module contains semiconductor components, it is necessary to follow the principles for working with electrostatic sensitive components when handling the removed cover. It is not allowed to directly touch the printed circuit boards without protective measures.
