The NotifyLib library allows sending Web Push notifications from the PLC application program. For proper function, cooperation with the teco-webpushserver server application is required, which is an installable accessory to the Foxtrot 2 series PLC.

The NotifyLib library allows sending Web Push notifications from the PLC application program. For proper function, cooperation with the teco-webpushserver server application is required, which is an installable accessory to the Foxtrot 2 series PLC. For use with the older Foxtrot series, the server must be installed on additional HW (eg FoxBerry, Raspberry Pi).
Registration for receiving notifications on a mobile device or PC is performed using the PLC website and the registration button, which can be displayed in the selected list of pages. Internet browsers only accept the Web Push service from web servers that have an authenticated SSL / TLS certificate. The PLC web server is not equipped with a verified certificate as standard. It is therefore up to the integrator to provide a certificate for the server. However, the simplest case is connecting the PLC to the TecoRoute service and accessing the web server via this service, as the route.tecomat.com domain will provide a valid certificate.
