The UC-1203 module is used to connect Belimo control drives via the MP-Bus (Belimo company bus) to the basic Tecomat Foxtrot module via the TCL2 system communication bus. The module allows to connect up to 8 control actuators to the MP-Bus - actuators of lift valves and actuators of control ball valves. In addition, an external sensor (active / passive) can be connected to some drives, which is also processed by the UC-1203 module.
Operation of one connected drive takes approx. 700ms, ie. operation of all 8 drives takes approx. 5.6s. When operating the drives, this considerable time delay must be taken into account in the application program.

Connection of Belimo drives
Description The Belimo drives are connected to the UC-1203 module using 24V ~ / GD / MP terminals. The UC-1203 module does not provide power for controlled drives, the drives must be powered by an external 24V AC / DC power supply (s).

Description The module is packed in a paper box. This documentation is also part of the package. The outer packaging is carried out according to the scope of the order and the method of transport in a transport package provided with labels and other data necessary for transport. The product must not be exposed to direct weather conditions during transport and storage. Malting of the product is only allowed in clean rooms without conductive dust, aggressive gases and vapors. The most suitable storage temperature is 20 ° C
Installation
Assembly description Module is mounted in a vertical position on the U-rail ČSN EN 50022. Assembly installation (basic module and possibly peripheral modules) is performed according to TXV 004 10.01.
Connection
Connection description The interface connection circuits of the TECOMAT Foxtrot PLC are connected to terminals A1 to A3 of the terminal block marked TCL2 +, TCL2-, GND.
On the PLC side, the TCL2 communication line is terminated inside the PLC. On the side of the UC-1203 module, it is necessary to terminate the line. Termination is performed using a KB-0290 terminator (TXN 102 90) connected between the TCL2 + and TCL2- terminals. This terminator is part of the Tecomat Foxtrot PLC package. If there are other modules on the TCL2 communication line, termination is always performed at the end of the entire line!

Module operation
Module diagnostics The basic diagnostic system of the module is a part of its standard software. It operates from module power on and operates independently of the user. Diagnostic error states of the module and connected peripheral modules of the assembly are signaled
Module diagnostics Indications on the panel
There are two indicator LEDs on the front panel of the module, RUN and MP. If the green RUN LED is lit, the module is in HALT mode (does not operate drives), if the RUN LED is flashing, the module is in RUN mode (operates drives). If the MP LED lights up red or flashes red, it indicates a communication fault with one of the operated drives. If the MP LED is green, communication with all drives is faultless.
Maintenance
Description The module does not require any maintenance under general installation conditions. The operations in which a part of the module has to be dismantled must always be carried out with the supply voltage disconnected.
Notice Because the module contains semiconductor components, it is necessary to follow the principles for working with electrostatic sensitive components when handling the removed cover. It is not allowed to directly touch the printed circuit boards without protective measures !!!
