Data exchange between PLCs - PLCnet PLCnet is a subsystem of TECOMAT programmable logic controllers used for data exchange between PLCs. The exchange takes place via Ethernet, is decentralized and transparent. Decentralized because communications take place directly between machines without the involvement of any intermediary. Decentralization achieves maximum reliability and resilience of the entire subsystem - failure or shutdown of one or more automata does not disrupt the exchange of data between the remaining ones. The subsystem is transparent from the user's point of view - it is enough to activate it and select which variables individual machines "offer" to the PLCnet network and which variables they read from other machines
